Douarnenez is a French commune in the Finistère department, in the Brittany region. It is no longer the major sardine port it was between 1970 and 1980. Today, however, it is a major seaside resort with an interesting heritage, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation in Finistère, Brittany.

Douarnenez: one of Europe’s most beautiful bays
